Finally my last day in Japan for this week...can’t wait for tomorrow to fly back home...it will be a very long day but at least I’ll sleep in my bed.
I have a few days off and I’m looking forward to cook something nice.
I’m actually really excited to go back home because I should have two big parcels waiting for me!!!!
One is from Molino Chiavazza and it is the prize I won on the contest about fresh regional pasta ( you will find here the recipe) and the other one should be my new help in the kitchen...but I’ll tell you all about when I’m home.
This recipe I’m posting today is a very simple one but really tasty!!! I love sea food and I really like to try new recipes. This one is perfect with just some toasted bread but you can also use it as a sauce for pasta or rice.

INGREDIENTS for 2 people:
500 gr. of baby octopus
about 20 cherry tomatoes
2 garlic cloves
extra virgin olive oil
salt
chilly pepper
white wine

In a saucepan heat some olive oil with the garlic cloves, add the octopus and fry for a few minutes. Pour in the white wine and simmer to allow the alcohol to evaporate.
Add the tomatoes halved or chopped tomatoes, season with salt and chilly pepper to taste. Cover the pan and let it cook for about 20 minutes. Set the octopus aside, filter the sauce and add it again to the octopus.
Serve with toasted bread!!!
Buon appetito!!!
